Kissing Frogs.

Frogs, they leap from leaf to leaf
Out of no where they just leave...


When hungry they could eat
So many bugs they pile inside them indeed


Slimy and gross they could be
But if we don't kiss them
How would I know if there is a prince there for me

There is not other way to go
Kissing frogs is the only way to know
one, two, three...
And you see them leave

After you kiss them if is not a prince
You will see the warts and slimy skin
They come and go, I kiss them all





Where it could be my frog prince to be..
I don't like this fairy tale
It's not fair to me

The frogs wait anxiously
For their kiss
Then they smile and leap graciously and that's it

My conclusion, unfortunately
They are all frogs, there are no prince
how this could be
It's like living in a swamp
Where Shrek and donkey lives

Frogs, frogs, they are everywhere
is like the swarm on Moises time

They are in churches, behind the piano
and singing praises
They preach and have big ministries at their feet

They are professionals, they own their own businesses
They wear glasses and a tie
They say Hello in the mornings and they are polite

They drink beer at the bar
Having fun is the only thing they have in mind

Kissing frogs is the only way to know...
if there is a prince behind the slimy skin
and the croak

Two Years Ago, Vacationing in Puerto Rico...

It's been 4 years since my last visit to my precious island. I was looking forward to be there to appreciate it's natural beauty and to spend tine with my family, specially my grandmother. She is getting old and forget thing easily even her family. Well I arrived on Friday July 8 2011, stayed for two weeks. I loved it! I spend time with family and was able to spent time with 3 of my best friends.

My last day with my sister and my kids. My allergies were killing me, I look like Rudolph!! Haha!





I will leave my little memories up to here, there so many photos... I am thankful that I was able to do this trip. I don't know when I will be back, because I will like to do more traveling to other places too. It's one of my dreams and goals. I think is great that I started with the most beautiful island of all!!! Puerto Rico!!

Pasado y Futuro

Suspirando entre recuerdos...

Me doy cuenta que es mejor suspirar por la incertidumbre de esperanzas que el futuro puede traer. 

Ya sabiendo lo que el pasado dejo, no hay necesidad de escarbar los escombros cuando hay todo un valle verde, árboles florecido, lleno de oportunidades y equipado con sabiduría.

Aventuraré entre suspiros y nuevas esperanzas...

Cansancio Mental

Entre el reloj, mi corazón y el tiempo, se repite la historia
Se repite la desilusión una y otra vez
Siento como los segundos fueran horas, puedo escuchar el tiempo
respirar, los minutos se ríen de mi, sin importarles mi sentir



Todos están en contra de mi, el tiempo no avanza su caminar
el reloj baila a su ritmo de dos tiempos y un vals
Entonces mis pensamientos enloquecidos de tanto pensar

Mi corazón aguantando la tortura, masoquista se cansa de esperar
cierra sus ojos y se pone a soñar, levantando esperanzas que no hay
entonces llega la mañana y toda esta locura vuelve a empezar.

Guardando Memorias en un Libro

Con todas las fotos esparcidas en la cama, ya tenia que terminar lo que había empezado. Me he propuesto a ser diligente con todo lo que se refiera a mi vida, durante el verano nuestra familia tuvo momentos inolvidables. Captamos algunos momentos en fotos que se convierten ahora en mis memorias plasmadas en papel, son carcajadas silenciosas, son momentos que puedo revivir una y otra vez aun cuando la memoria se olvide. Esas fotos ya son historias que mis nietos que todavía no existen podrán conocer por la imágenes plasmadas junto a nuestros cuentos de ayer.

Movie Date Night

While in a process of migration, everybody walking at different speed but all with their beach chairs, blankets, coolers and more to be at once by the largest outdoor screen to watch "The Vow" for a date night under the stars.  We were part of the hundreds that wanted to take advantage of that once a month perfect romantic night. Been our first time, we did not know how popular this activity was between our neighbors, so we took our time to get there, thinking that just been on time at 8:30, the time  that the movie to start was enough. But we discover that been on time wasn't good enough! The parking was full, the instruction to follow was to park on the streets close by, the only problem was that there was no parking anywhere close to the park. While we were looking desperately for a parking we kept seen people and more people walking toward the park with all the needed equipment.   Suddenly our little romantic adventure close to home began to shaped in other way, we even thought of leaving, but I insisted to keep going , at that moment I wanted to know even more, why so much people were there. Finally we found a parking and after walking a while, sweeting and fighting with bugs in the humid warm night we got to our destination around 15 after the movie started. The place was packed! 

Leaving us with the adventure of finding a place to open our beach chairs and bottle of wine. Once we sat down I look around, all this people, under the stars on blankets, opening bottle of wine, cuddling while watching the movie, it was so perfect that no even the heat and bugs couldn't ruin that romantic night for them, even thought at the beginning of next month we could have another one maybe even a better night.
